Initial Flight and Recurrent Training Programs
We provide text and digital media with specific case studies to develop or reinforce the basic fundamentals of air work, aeronautical decision making and crew resource management. Follow on material and discussions cover more complex concepts with reinforced learning through case studies and exercises to emphasize learning objectives and ensure retention.
Flight Instructor Training
Advanced training in prevention, recognition and recovery from upset conditions, stalls and unusual attitudes. As stated in AC 120-109A, evidence exists that some pilots may not have the required skills or training to respond appropriately to an unexpected stall. We can develop a training curriculum the provides your staff with the in-depth knowledge and skills to recognize, prevent, and if necessary, recover from unexpected stall events. Additional training curriculums for automated failures, inadequate energy management and crew coordination are available.
Standard Operating Procedures
Standard operating procedures (SOPs) have been identified as having an increased operational benefit. Based on your specific criteria, we can develop, publish, train, and implement both ground and airborne SOPs ensuring they match your operational situation.
Risk Mitigation
We provide a systematic and structured in-depth evaluation of day to day operations to identify potential high risk situations, equipment, and personnel which could result in an incident or accident. Once identified, we develop potential solutions to reduce the risk as low as reasonably practicable, and help implement the controls and required resources to mitigate the risks to your organization.
Technological integration
Increasing technological advancements on the flight deck can enhance situational awareness or be detrimental distraction negatively impacting the outcome during high workloads.
As reported by CBS – A FAA study found pilots sometimes “abdicate too much responsibility to automated systems.” Because these systems are so integrated in today’s planes, one malfunctioning piece of equipment or a single bad computer instruction can suddenly cascade into a series of other failures, unnerving pilots who have been trained to rely on the equipment.” In a dynamic environment or in emergency situation, how do you ensure your personnel are ready to handle these demands. Let us show you how.
